Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats is an effective, veterinary strength medicine containing ivermectin to treat lice, fleas, mange mites, other mites and roundworms in small animals.

Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats is easy-to-use and controls parasites for up to four weeks.

Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and rats weighing more than 300g.

For animals weighing less than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Golden Hamsters and Gerbils.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS WEIGHING LESS THAN 300g AS THIS COULD RESULT IN OVERDOSING.

We recommend treating all the animals in the cage or hutch at the same time, and treating the environment with a suitable insecticide.

Manufacturers recommendations for use:

Weigh your pet carefully before application and use the following table to calculate the correct dose.

Animals weighing 300–750g: 1 pipette
Animals weighing 750–1500g: 2 pipettes
Animals weighing >1500g: 3 pipettes

For animals weighing less than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Golden Hamsters and Gerbils.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS WEIGHING LESS THAN 300g AS THIS COULD RESULT IN OVERDOSING.

1. Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
2. Hold your pet firmly but gently and apply the entire contents of the pipette to the skin at the base of the neck.
3. Squeeze the pipette several times across the skin to empty its contents completely. While squeezing out the contents, spread the solution over as great a surface of the skin as possible.

If required, treatment can be repeated after four weeks.

DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS WEIGHING LESS THAN 300g. Do not use on animals intended for human consumption. Do not use on any other species other than those indicated. Do not use on pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry. Serious reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheep Dogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with products containing the active ingredient.
